A 76mm pole is ideal as the motor clamps will have a better grip on a larger pole. It is possible to buy this stand as a bolt together, it is, however, more expensive.You can see from the pictures that the bolt together version is very rigid and the structuaral integrity is not compomised.The bolt together version is ideal for long distance international shipping as the shipping costs are much lower.
